YUMA is a startup in the travel industry with big goals. The folks at YUMA believe that tourism in Malaysia, especially in smaller places do not get the exposure that it needs. For instance, Ipoh is a beautiful city with so much more local offerings that don’t get advertised. YUMA aims to introduce all the unique local offerings of each city in Malaysia into the world.
As a startup, YUMA needs to first test the market – do their dreams and goals align with the market? To achieve this, YUMA needs a website with blogging capabilities and social media presence to voice out and engage with their potential audience.
Through their initial studies and past experience, the folks at YUMA believe that targeting the tourists from China is a great way to start – not only are they large in numbers, but tourists from China have also shown more interest in urban destinations like Ipoh, Melaka, and Penang. With this point, it was only logical that YUMA’s website should be fully translated into Chinese when accessed by an audience from China.
Furthermore, being a young start-up, we had to ensure that YUMA’s story and purpose are delivered to the audience. This means a beautiful homepage detailing what YUMA is all about.
YUMA now has a multilingual website with modern design and blogging capabilities. The website also features multiple forms – primarily contact forms for potential users to reach them and also partners/job application forms as YUMA is still expanding their team.
